Keeping up quite the busy schedule, Chace Crawford finished up weekday work duties for "Gossip Girl" only to fly off for movie promotions in France over the holiday weekend.

The CW stud looked dapper as he attended the premiere for the movie "Twelve" during the 36th American Film Festival in Deauville on Sunday (September 5).

Having been released in the States last month, "Twelve" isn't part of the festival's competition - as the screening comes ahead of the movie's French release date of September 8th.

As for the action flick, director Joel Schumacher previously talked about exploiting sexuality when it comes to young stars such as Chace - who is pictured face down in his boxers at the start of the movie.

Schumacher tells, "Those are the first words from the book. Plus, Elia Kazan was straight. I think you should look at Streetcar Named Desire [with a highly sexualized Marlon Brando] and Splendor in the Grass [ditto Warren Beatty]. Yes, I do objectify people sexually in my movies. Where's the harm? They still have to act."

Stepping out on the red carpet for one of her many new projects, Michelle WIlliams attended the "Meek's Cutoff" premiere during the 67th Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy on Sunday (September 5).

Held at the Sala Grande Palazzo Del Cinema, the soon-to-be 30-year-old actress looked stunning as she joined castmates Neal Huff, Bruce Greenwood, Tommy Nelson and director Kelly Reichardt for the weekend screening.

With the film being drawn from diaries kept by Western-bound pioneers, "Meek's Cutoff" is the second time in which Miss Williams has worked with director Reichardt.

Of her hankering to choose Michelle, Kelly told the AP earlier today, "I love working with Michelle. She is very game for the kind of films we are making. They are really hard and there are no comforts at all."

Meanwhile, "Meek's Cutoff" is among 23 films in the running to win the prestigious Golden Lion award, which will be handed out on September 11.

With filming slated to get underway in Brazil in the coming weeks, recent unrest in the country has jeopardized the movie-making plans.

A spokesman for Summit told Radar Online, “The possibility of filming portions of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 in Brazil has always been under consideration and we are continuing to scout locations within the country.”

Nonetheless, expected release dates for "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" in November 2011 and "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" in November 2012 are yet to have been affected.
